Anjana Nathwani Director – Athena Learning Academy (UK)
Very often described by her peers as a pioneer and someone who has the courage and determination to follow her convictions. Anjana has held several senior leadership roles, and managed business units with P&L of £1million. Her work has received global recognition and she is a recipient of several awards, the most recent being the Global Diversity Leadership Award in 2017.
As a Business Psychologist, she is passionate that organisation’s create environments where people can thrive and optimize their potential and #BeHuman.
Anjana is a graduate from Cardiff University with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology and a Masters in Education from Brunel University. She is currently Director of Athena Learning Academy and Visiting Lecturer at Hertfordshire Business School.
Her experience spans across four continents and 80 different nationalities, has worked with over 100 clients from the public, private, NGO and University sectors. During her career she has designed and delivered leadership programs for 5000 leaders, mentored/coached 200 senior leaders, executed 100 Top Team and Board Diversity and Inclusion strategy sessions, conducted 75 cultural audits and written reports and delivered 500 diversity education workshops.
Expertise includes: Change Management, Leadership, Organizational Behaviour, Global Working, Global Leadership, Inclusive Leadership, Gender Diversity, Generations, Talent Management and Performance Management. She is highly skilled at engaging senior leaders and her clients describe her as an ‘Inspiring – coach/mentor’. Her interventions are dynamic and outcome driven.
As a two time survivor of Cancer, she is passionate about well – being and works as a coach and a yoga therapist with cancer patients and thrivers.
She has authored many publications and writes regularly for YestoLife, Thrive Global and India Inc. She has co-authored two books – View from the Top and Managing Difference, published PWN Books.
She is on the Global Advisory Board of Steering to Greatness Foundation based in Nigeria and on the Advisory Board of BD Foundation in India.
Anjana has recently launched Young Achievers Program and is passionate about the next generation of leaders and how they are developed for global roles.
